Jung is Vice President, Federal and Customized Initiatives at The Washington Center and has more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Jung sets strategic direction for all customized programs at TWC including federal internship programs and initiatives funded by corporations, foundations or foreign governments. Some of the federal initiatives she oversees include partnerships with the Departments of State, Department of Transportation, and Naval Research Lab among others. Some of the customized initiatives she has managed include: Building the TOMODACHI Generation Morgan Stanley Ambassadors, Ford Motor Company Global Scholars, Global Competencies, Korean Educators, Mexico 100, Panama Innovation & Competitiveness, Prudential Foundation Global Citizens, Sonora 100, Veterans Employment Trajectory Initiative, and Women’s Empowerment. Jung is also a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach and conducts StrengthsFinder workshops for diverse audiences.

Prior to joining TWC, Jung worked in the fields of education, international trade law, and conference planning and also did volunteer work in various countries. Besides working at TWC, Jung is a board member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals and served on the board of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of DC. Jung received her B.A. from Hanyang University and M.A. from Yonsei University, Graduate School of International Studies.
