Please note: American Express Leadership Academy Global Alumni Summit has been canceled. Please stay tuned for an update. Atlas Corps, the American Express Leadership Academy and LeaderStories hope you and loved ones are safe during this time.
The sixth annual American Express Leadership Academy Global Alumni Summit will be held in Washington, DC, on March 15-17, 2020. The Summit will bring together 100 emerging social purpose leaders with representatives from the American Express Leadership Academy partners for continued professional development, relationship-building and collaboration.
This year's Summit will feature a special livestream conversation, Engaging All: Strategies for Courageous Transformation, featuring Trabian Shorters, CEO at BMe Community, in conversation with Stacy Palmer, editor of The Chronicle of Philanthropy. The world around us is becoming more interconnected every day. Understanding these connections and having the courage to promote positive transformation is especially relevant when trying to solve social problems. Trabian will share thoughts on his pioneering work in Asset-Framing and his extensive experience in the social sector.
At the end of the discussion, be sure to stay tuned as we announce the winner of the 2020 American Express Leadership Academy Alumni Award. This award honors an accomplished social purpose leader who continuously demonstrates strong leadership and who has had a significant impact on their organization, the sector and community. The recipient receives a $25,000 grant to their organization. (Learn more.)
