Sean Tennerson has more than six years of experience in social innovation, including socially responsible business and philanthropy. She is currently a Community Manager at NationSwell—a social impact media company and certified B Corp, dedicated to powering the solutions and innovations that will move the country forward. As a community manager, Sean manages a portfolio of approximately 100 NationSwell council members of service-minded leaders who take part in a community committed to moving our country forward. In this role, she helps connect Council members to the ideas, people and opportunities that can advance their solutions and multiply their impact. Prior to her work at NationSwell, Sean served in multiple capacities at the Case Foundation, leading programs and managing internal planning, strategy and reporting. As a program lead, Sean directed programs and grants related to Millennial cause and civic engagement; data in impact investing; and social entrepreneurship. Sean believes deeply in democratizing power—financial, social and political—and promoting broader civic participation to continue building a stronger democratic nation, and she has a degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
