Aubrie Fennecken is the Chief Alchemist of Opportunity Kitchen where she supports nonprofits and social businesses with workplace well-being and resource development. She leverages a decade of experience in nonprofit management to help mission-driven companies and passionate professionals grow their impact and minimize burnout. She has lectured and led workshops for CUNY Brooklyn College, The Support Center for Nonprofit Management, Nonprofit New York, and the Nonprofit Learning Lab. Her writing on well-being in mission-driven workplaces has been featured on Thrive Global and Mental Health Missions. Aubrie is a Certified Health Coach, holds a BA in Psychology from American University and an MFA in Performing Arts Management from CUNY Brooklyn College. During her tenure as the Director of Development for The Financial Clinic, her team that raised more than $10 million for financial security and mobility initiatives for low-income Americans. Previously, she held management roles in development and communications at Manhattan Theatre Club, Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts and the Early Stages Program. Aubrie is passionate about the mission-driven sector, advocating for adequate resources and management practices that support healthy, happy, empowered workforces.
