Sierra Van Ryck deGroot is the Education Programs Manager at Poster House, a new museum dedicated to presenting the impact, culture, and design of posters. She can be found developing, executing, and supervising family and school programming for the museum, in addition to researching and designing content and partnerships that further the mission of the institution. Her work helps to highlight the museum's unique focus within the scope of design-centric cultural institutions in NYC and beyond. 

Sierra serves as the Secretary and Peer Group Liaison for the New York City Museum Educators Roundtable (NYCMER) Board, in addition to serving as the Chapter Relations Chair for the National Emerging Museum Professionals Network Board (NEMPN).

Sierra is an alumna of Seton Hall University and has an MSEd degree in Museum Education with a specialization in Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education in New York City. She is a proud alumna of the Dr. Martin Luther King Leadership Program at Seton Hall University.
