Terrell A. Blount is the Director of the Formerly Incarcerated College Graduates Network, an organization committed to promoting and supporting higher education attainment among currently and formerly incarcerated people. 

Terrell, since 2016, has served as Program Associate at the Vera Institute of Justice, providing technical assistance to institutions of higher education and corrections agencies regarding college programming for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals using Pell grants.

Terrell is a leader in education in prison, participating on steering committees for the Alliance for Higher Education in Prison (AHEP) and the Rutgers Initiative for Education & Justice (IEJ), and the advisory board for the Prison Teaching Initiative (PTI) at Princeton University. He serves as a board trustee of The Petey Greene Program, also a Princeton University program in which volunteers tutor incarcerated people toward completion of the high school diploma/GED completion.

Terrell is a graduate of Rutgers University and holds an MPA in Nonprofit Management from the School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers-Newark.
