Tray Deadwyler is the Managing Director of The Service Nerd—a collective of consultancies and nonprofit organizations supporting leaders, their teams and organizations lead differently. He is an award-winning community development leader with nearly 20 years of experience designing initiatives to ease the burdens of our veteran and military families returning from duty, creating innovative workforce development solutions and ensuring our youth are prepared to lead the future. From growing the national service portfolio at large foundations to co-creating innovative community interventions, he has harnessed the various forms of philanthropy to empower individuals and organizations to take action within communities and for themselves. With service to the community at his core, Tray’s civic and professional transcript spans organizations such as the American Red Cross, Atlanta Police Department, Communities in Schools, Morehouse College, Spelman College, Points of Light Foundation and the AmeriCorps*National Civilian Community Corps, Angels in Distress, Love Beyond Walls and One World Link.
