Michael Ann Wilson has committed her career to serving the field of dance. Currently Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Director of Company Operations & Touring, her primary responsibilities include budget management, union relations, contract negotiations, foreign artist taxes/visas, long-range planning, and tour execution. Previously, she served as Manager of Dance Programming at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and as the General Manager of the Kennedy Center’s Suzanne Farrell Ballet. She simultaneously produced the Local Dance Commissioning project during her eight season tenure at the Kennedy Center. The project is an ongoing effort to support local artists in the DC metropolitan area. Michael Ann earned her Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration from the College of Charleston (SC) and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Leadership from Northeastern University. She is a Maryland 4-H All-Star and an active member of Dance/USA, a service organization based in the United States and dedicated to professional dance. Additionally, Michael Ann was part of the Fall 2014 NYC American Express Leadership cohort. She resides in Seattle where her family enjoys hiking and Seahawks football.
