Maureen Rovas

Maureen Rovas is the Executive Director with the American Lung Association in Michigan. Maureen draws from her more than 14 years in the social impact sector. In her current role she leads a team focused on market revenue growth through special events, corporate engagement and individual giving. Prior to this role, Maureen was Senior Manager, Community Development with the American Cancer Society. At ACS, she led a team focused on volunteer led fundraising initiatives throughout Southeast Michigan. Maureen is also an instructor at Oakland University as part of the Nonprofit Management Certificate program. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and competing in open water swim races as well as practicing yoga. She also enjoys lending her time volunteering with local organizations and serving as a mentor to current business and nonprofit sector school students. Maureen earned her BSBA and MBA from Wayne State University and recently completed her CNP through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.
