Kim Gube serves as the Director of the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast Regions at Global Impact in Alexandria, VA. Her work involves connecting and inspiring people and organizations who want to support international charities through employee giving and engagement programs. Before settling in the DC area, Kim received her BA in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Tennessee and coordinated training and disaster response through a network of volunteers with the Red Cross in Knoxville. She continued her work with volunteers by developing partnerships and volunteer programs at the national headquarters and the local Red Cross in DC. In her free time, Kim coordinates leadership opportunities for the DC AmEx alumni. She also works at the Smithsonian and enjoys volunteering with local theaters, festivals and the nonprofit community. In 2017, she volunteered with DC film festivals and became a film screener with the DC Environmental and AFI DOCs film festivals.
