Jessie Bustamante is the Chief Advancement Officer for ACCEL. This organization serves individuals starting at 18 months through the lifespan who have a variety of special needs. In this role Jessie is focused on the fundraising, marketing and community outreach in Arizona, as well as supporting the programs in Saudi Arabia. For the past 12 years, Jessie has served a variety of health and human service organizations within the social purpose sector. Most recently she led local fundraising efforts for the American Lung Association, prior to that she was a traveling national fundraiser for Moishe House and prior to that Jessie was an Executive Director in California for the American Lung Association. Jessie’s nonprofit career started as the Executive Director for Dysart Community Center, a local organization outside of Phoenix. Jessie graduated from the University of Arizona with her undergraduate degree and then went on to complete her MBA. In her free time, you can find Jessie traveling the globe to visit her 12 nieces and nephews, volunteering in the community or catching up with friends. Jessie is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, and currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband, Luis, and Australian Shepherd, Cujo.
