Jessica Chen is the Director of Public Programs the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, where she leads the planning and production of film screenings, lectures, conversations, and performances that explore the events of 9/11 and their legacy in the world today. Having joined the Museum team in 2014, she has contributed to numerous institution-wide efforts, including the annual 9/11 anniversary commemorative programs, the Museum Opening Ceremony in May 2014, and the Papal Multi-Prayer Service in September 2015.

Previously the Education Coordinator for Public Programs at the Morgan Library & Museum, Jessica has also led educational events and workshops in Germany, Mexico, and Kenya in UNANIMA International, a non-governmental advocacy organization affiliated with the United Nations. Jessica holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and American Literature and Linguistics from New York University. She is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation New York Office’s 2016 Citizens Academy.
