For the last five years, Hannah Denys has served as the Communications Director at Central Asia Institute, where she works to promote education, ensuring young women in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Tajikistan receive the skills and knowledge they need to determine their own destinies. Previously, she worked for The Constitution Project, a nonprofit think tank whose goal is to build bipartisan consensus on significant constitutional and legal questions, and Karamah, an organization committed to protecting human rights through legal outreach, political advocacy, and education. Altogether, Hannah has 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Hannah holds a master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology, sociology, and archaeology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She lives in Bozeman, Montana.
