Emmanuel Imah is a social innovator and strategic partnerships professional with experience in the nonprofit, government, and technology sectors. He currently manages the national employer engagement and alumni program of Upwardly Global, a national nonprofit that works towards workforce inclusion and equity for work-authorized, skilled immigrants. He leads initiatives to engage strategic employer partners. In this role, he actively supports development and management of strategies, structures, and processes for strategic partnerships and is responsible for successful delivery on partnership agreements. He also oversees support of thousands of Upwardly Global alumni community members towards economic mobility as well as their engagement as program advocates and evangelists. Emmanuel joined Upwardly Global in 2011 to oversee the volunteer and corporate relations services in the Bay Area.  He managed and grew relationships with dozens of Fortune 1000 corporate partners while recruiting and empowering hundreds of their employees to be strong voices for immigrant integration in the workplace. Prior to Upwardly Global, he worked extensively on social mobilization, championing social change programs and managing community economic development projects. He also worked with economically-vulnerable populations in workforce development and energy efficiency programs. A Fellow of the American Express Leadership Academy at the Aspen Institute, Emmanuel holds an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Public Relations & Advertising.
