From November 4 through 8th, 2019, American Express and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) will bring 72 emerging social purpose leaders together in New York for the American Express Leadership Academy. This year's Academy focuses on leaders who are tackling LGBTQ issues.

LeaderStories is pleased to bring you an excluse peek behind the scenes of this state-of-the-art leadership development experience, thanks to Virginia Goggin and Myles Paisley, who agreed to share their time and reflections as they prepare for and participate in the Academy. This two-week project is designed to bring you insights and ideas you can use in your work. 

Meet Our Leaders
 

Myles Paisley is the Director of Finance and Operations and Virginia Goggin is the Director of Legal Services at the New York Anti-Violence Project. Both agreed to let us follow them as they take part in the unique approach CCL uses to leadership development.
