S. Naik Banavathu

Naik Banavathu is worked as Sr. Manager, Training and Development, at Western National Parks Association (WNPA) and leads the efforts to design and implement training initiatives and organizational development programs. In the last six years with WNPA, Naik provided critical leadership by analyzing operations, streamlining operational procedures, implementing strategic initiatives, consistently maintaining positive partnerships with the partners that led to consistent increase in revenue and visitor experience. In his 15 years of progressive professional experience in India, Netherlands, and the United States, Naik demonstrated success in business development, partnership management, change management, training, coaching and people management and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Naik excelled at social entrepreneurial ventures at WNPA and Global Exchange, an international human rights organization, by creating entrepreneurship opportunities to local and rural communities. Prior to Global Exchange, Naik worked with Institute of Social Studies and provided project leadership of Education, Decentralization and Social inequality research project. At ASM- PLAN in India, Naik transformed a sector with 22 sites from low performing to the best performing sector by creating and implementing operational, financial, and administrative protocols. Naik holds an Executive Certificate, Nonprofit Management focused in Nonprofit/Public/Organizational Management, Masters in International Development focused in Public Policy and Development Management and Masters in Anthropology.
