Kevin Vuong leads apsi as CEO, advising clients on social innovation strategy, how they can use social enterprise as a vehicle for economic development, and its role as an upstream intervention to address the social determinants of health. The Primary Consultant for the Miinkaanens Hub with Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Kevin is helping the Nation to build Canada’s first on-reserve Indigenous social enterprise incubator and community hub. When not working with clients, he teaches at the University of Toronto - Faculty of Medicine's Translational Research Program, and proudly serves at Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship YORK in the Canadian Forces Naval Reserves. Kevin is active in the community and with his alma mater, serving on Western University’s Council of Presidents, chair of the Mencius Foundation, and the board of directors for multiple community organizations and agencies. For his service and impact, Kevin has been named one of Canada’s Top 30 Under 30 and Her Majesty The Queen’s Young Leader for Canada.
