Claire Tuffin

Claire Tuffin is a Deputy Executive Director of Strategy and Policy at St Mungo's. St Mungo's is a housing association and charity which works with homeless people, and those at risk of homelessness, across the south of England. Claire has worked for charities in the homelessness sector for 12 years and currently has responsibility for three teams which cover quality and continuous improvement, safeguarding, information security, data insights, service user involvement, and diversity and inclusion. Prior to this she worked for a Supporting People team in local government for three years which commissioned and inspected services for vulnerable people. From 1997 to 2003 Claire worked in various local government positions primarily focused on improving the quality and performance of public services. Claire has a master's degree in Coaching from the University of East London and a degree in Politics from the University of Sussex. In terms of voluntary positions, Claire is Vice-Chair for a public housing organisation, Tower Hamlets Homes, and is the Co-Event Director for a free weekly running event, Mile End parkrun, both based in East London.
