Peter Sandhaus Camiloaga

Peter Sandhaus Camiloaga was born and raised in Peru. He obtained a Degree in Marketing and Communications as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Publicity. He subsequently worked in the hotel industry in Lima for several years as a Guest Service Manager. He came to the United States in the early 2000s, where he intended to make a substantial difference in other people's’ lives. His first job in the US was at the American Institute of Technology, where he managed the Institute's operational procedures. Peter began his career at Urban Pathways working as a Director of Operations, where he would work out of drop-in centers, safe havens, and outreach facilities that provided housing for people living on the streets of New York. It was at Urban Pathways that he realized his job could be a way to make a difference in someone’s life. Fourteen years of service at Urban Pathways has rewarded Peter with the knowledge that his work does help.
