Michael Linington began his career in the private sector.  He started working in development following a period of volunteering on outreach projects with the Terrence Higgins Trust (THT), the UK’s leading HIV and sexual health charity. After teaching for a brief period in Mexico City, Michael returned to his career in philanthropy at Tate Modern, a family of art museums that house international and British work. During this period Michael supported the international collections of all four of the organization’s public galleries in the UK. He now works for the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum in London, leading a team of 13 professional fundraisers on an ambitious program of development both in the UK and abroad.Michael graduated with an arts degree from the University of the Arts London, followed by an Master’s in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths College, and has been been living in London for over a decade.
