Anne-Julie Burdet

Anne-Julie Burdet is originally from Jura in France. She moved to London in 2004 for an initial six month trip that she kept extending one year at a time. She studied International Management and Marketing in Strasbourg but always with a view to work for the not-for-profit sector. 

Her first role out of university was for a small charity called 4Children where she learned about the main functions of a third sector organization and in 2006, she was given the opportunity to support the creation of its first business development function. She continued in this field joining Action for Children as Business Development Manager and then the British Red Cross where she spent six years developing its domestic contracting function.

Eighteen months ago, she joined St Mungo’s to support a culture change in its approach to growth and develop Social Impact Bonds to support people recover from homelessness.
