Julie Smith is a qualified executive coach and an experienced leader with 15+ years in management positions, ten of which were in senior positions in non-profits, including heading national training operations and an interim CEO post. She now runs her own coaching business, as well as working on a range of projects for non-profits. Recent coaching clients include: women seeking asylum in the U.K., senior managers in non-profits and graduates in their first role in the non-profit sector. Popular topics are: imposter syndrome, identifying strengths, building confidence, interview preparation and career transitions. Recent projects include: developing an accredited training program for community money mentors, writing and delivering a workshop on motivation for a homelessness charity and managing grants for debt advice, for people with severe mental health conditions. Julie plays an active role in the alumni network by chairing the Global Alumni Task-Force, speaking at the London academies (2013-2017), co-founding the London chapter, and coaching fellow alumni. Julie is interested in hearing what fellow alumni want from their network.
