David Salisbury

Dave Salisbury is passionate about using research, evaluation, and data analysis to improve services. Dave currently works at Macmillan Cancer Support in the UK and leads a team focused on ensuring that the organization makes the best possible use of evidence that they generate. He is passionate about maximizing the use of evidence in the third sector in order that charitable spending leads to real impact for people living with cancer. As a leader, Dave is committed to learning, transparency, and finding creative ways to ensure people and projects are equipped to succeed. In addition to his work at Macmillan, Dave recently returned to Macmillan Cancer Support following a year long sabbatical during which he established a consultancy delivering program evaluation in public health care in British Columbia. Outside of the office Dave coaches youth basketball in London, which is another of his lifelong passions.
